Learn to sleep well. Fall asleep, stay asleep and wake up with energy.
What is a great night’s sleep worth?
It’s estimated that at least 60% of all people have physical or psychological problems stemming from poor sleep. Insomniacs are those who either don’t fall asleep quickly, wake up many times per night or wake up after a whole night of tossing and turning, tired and irritated. This usually is not because of physical reasons. Usually poor sleep patterns have to do with the inability to turn off the mind at the appropriate time. Poor sleep not only creates fatigue and listlessness but may negatively impact an individual’s learning abilities up to 30%. Heart problems, strokes and so many more physical and psychological problems are directly linked to poor sleep patterns. A portion of our night cycles are spent in a dream state, where the mind settles and organizes information by which it has been bombarded during the day. Interrupting that dream portion enough can impair memory and other cognitive functions.
